The redshirt junior guard/forward will make his Hilltopper exhibition debut Tuesday as WKU hosts NAIA program Campbellsville at 7 p.m. It’ll mark the first time Savage has faced another college team since he left Austin Peay following the 2016-17 season.
Savage projects to step right into WKU’s starting lineup alongside guards Josh Anderson and Taveion Hollingsworth, forward Desean Murray and center Charles Bassey. Those five played together as a unit Oct. 11 at the program’s Pro Day, Oct. 18 at Hilltopper Hysteria and Oct. 20 at the team’s open scrimmage.
Savage averaged 8.1 points and 3.6 rebounds across two seasons at APSU.
