Western Kentucky guard/forward Jared Savage dunks during Hilltopper Hysteria on Friday at E.A. Diddle Arena.

“It’s been, what, a year since I’ve played,” Savage said to reporters Friday. “It’s nice to get back on the court and play against talent. It was pretty fun.”
Savage is just a few months away from finally playing competitively for Western Kentucky.
The 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard/forward had to sit out all of last season after transferring from Austin Peay.
