Any competition Jared Savage can get, he’ll take. That’s what made his and Moustapha Diagne’s recent trip to Belize so rewarding.

“It’s been, what, a year since I’ve played,” Savage said to reporters Friday. “It’s nice to get back on the court and play against talent. It was pretty fun.”

Savage is just a few months away from finally playing competitively for Western Kentucky.

The 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard/forward had to sit out all of last season after transferring from Austin Peay.
