Western Kentucky’s Class of 2017 underwent plenty of turnover the last eight months.
It was last June when Hopkinsville natives Keyron Catlett and Kenneth Major became WKU’s first commits in the class. They pledged to a Hilltopper program coached by Jeff Brohm.
Wednesday, Alabama high school prospect Preston Mixon and Oklahoma junior college tight end Mik’Quan Deane became the last two players to join the class. They made National Signing Day pledges to a WKU program now led by Mike Sanford.
In between that time period, Brohm coached WKU to another Conference USA title, then left for Purdue.
