Tacorian Darden has made the most of his opportunities over the last two games.
The defensive back from Russellville recorded interceptions in each of Western Kentucky’s last two games, wins against North Texas and Marshall.
It’s been a productive end to the season for the redshirt freshman Darden, who suffered what coach Jeff Brohm said Monday was a “fairly severe groin injury” in the preseason. The injury required Darden to fly to Philadelphia for surgery.
Darden, a walk-on and former star at Russellville High School, made his season debut Nov. 5 in a 49-21 win against FIU.
