Western Kentucky could be without a freshman wide receiver who made a splash in spring practice. Wednesday morning, Manny Allen's name entered the transfer portal, according to 247sports.
WKU could not confirm Allen's intent to transfer as of Wednesday morning.
Allen, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound native of Moreno Valley, Calif., is one of five receivers forming part of WKU's early signing class in December.
Allen is a former three-star prospect who signed with the Hilltoppers after previously committing to Southern California, Nebraska and Louisville.
He enrolled early and participated in all of spring practice with WKU.
