Hilltopper IMG Sports Marketing General Manager Chris Bloomfield announced Thursday that recent Southern Indiana graduate Jevin Redman has been hired as Western Kentucky's women's basketball play-by-play announcer beginning in the 2017-18 season.
“We are excited to have Jevin join the Hilltopper IMG Sports Network team. He has a diverse background having called games at the high school, minor league and collegiate level,” Bloomfield said in a news release. “I know Lady Topper fans will enjoy listening to Jevin this season.”
Redman, who graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in April 2017, served as the play-by-play announcer for men’s and women’s basketball as well as baseball for the Screaming Eagles for all four years of his collegiate career.
