After three successful years at Western Kentucky, Jeff Brohm says he was “ready for a new challenge.”
Brohm was introduced Monday afternoon as the Boilermakers’ new coach. He flew to West Lafayette, Ind., with his family on Monday morning after telling WKU athletic director Todd Stewart and his players that he was leaving.
Associate head coach/defensive coordinator Nick Holt will be WKU’s interim head coach. The Toppers (10-3) won the Conference USA championship on Saturday and accepted a bid to the Boca Raton Bowl on Sunday.
“We wish them the best and know that their program will continue to be successful,” Brohm said of WKU at his introductory news conference.
