The most tenured coach at Western Kentucky fully understands the challenges of his boss. Travis Hudson is entering his 25th year as the head volleyball coach and eighth season working under Todd Stewart’s supervision as the school’s athletics director.
Hudson has seen the highs and lows of WKU athletics. He’s won more championships than any other coach, but also watched the university endure major budget cuts. One constant through it all has been the man running the ship.
“It’s been some difficult water to navigate here in this athletics department and university as a whole with the budget crisis,” Hudson said.
