Miles Pate looks like a starting offensive guard at the FBS level. The 6-foot-2, 320-pound lineman will become one for the first time Saturday.
Pate is poised to make his first career college start when Western Kentucky hosts Eastern Kentucky at Houchens-Smith Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m., with the game to be streamed at Flofootball.com.
Pate is one of three new starting offensive linemen for WKU this fall, along with left tackle Jimmie Sims and right tackle Matt Nord. He takes the former spot of Dennis Edwards, who’s slid over this season to play center.
