It’s been a different week for Western Kentucky and, according to the Lady Toppers, it’s been a good one.
WKU has been working through its one bye week of the conference season. Instead of the typical Thursday-Saturday, two-games-in-three-days schedule, the Lady Toppers have just one contest – a noon CST tipoff Sunday at Marshall.
Coach Michelle Clark-Heard said Thursday her players took a couple of days to themselves and have been going “back to some of the basics” since getting back on the practice floor.
Most weeks, WKU would be learning scouting reports for two separate teams.
