Last year, Western Kentucky had its signing class all sewn up early with little drama.
The three-star wide receiver chose WKU during a signing ceremony at his school on National Signing Day, and his letter of intent was received by the school mere minutes before coach Jeff Brohm took to the podium to discuss the class.
"I kind of felt when I went on my official visit, and when I went up there this summer, I liked the place, and they had recruited me hard," Lane told the Daily News on Wednesday. "They recruited me throughout the season, and I had a good relationship with them.
