Hilltoppers coach Jeff Brohm said after practice Thursday that he hopes to name a starting QB on Friday.
Veteran quarterbacks Drew Eckels, Tyler Ferguson and Mike White have been battling throughout the offseason and into fall camp to be WKU’s starter.
With the Toppers opening their season Sept. 1 against Rice, Brohm said he’s finally ready to make the decision.
“We’ll probably have an answer for you (Friday) on that,” Brohm said. “Like I said, I think all three of our veteran quarterbacks have worked hard and they’ve put in the time.
“They’ve all gotten better, so it’s going to be important that we’re not afraid to utilize all of them.
