BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — One of the nation’s elite tournaments is on deck for the WKU men’s basketball team next season.
The Hilltoppers will be part of the eight-team field for the 2017 Battle 4 Atlantis, which was announced Friday during the championship game for this year’s event.
2016 national champion Villanova, Arizona, Purdue, North Carolina State, Tennessee, SMU and Northern Iowa join WKU in the star-studded field.
The event is set for Nov. 22-24, 2017, at Atlantis Paradise Island in Paradise Islands, Bahamas.
“We’re excited to play in what we think is one of the premier tournaments in the country,” WKU head coach Rick Stansbury said.
