Junior Lomomba transferred to Western Kentucky this offseason with his future in mind.
The graduate senior had played off the ball in a small forward-type role throughout his college career, which included a freshman year at Cleveland State and the last two seasons at Providence.
But Lomomba said Tuesday he thought the best move for his post-collegiate career would be switching to point guard. New Hilltopper coach Rick Stansbury has given the Montreal native a chance to do that his senior season.
Lomomba has assumed point guard duties for WKU and will be responsible for running much of the Toppers’ offense and defense this season.
