Western Kentucky's women's golf team is in the driver’s seat heading into Tuesday’s final round of the Boston College Intercollegiate.
The Lady Toppers finished Monday’s first two rounds with a 36-hole tally of 607 (298-309), tied for the team lead with host Boston College. They’re also second in the field with 21 total birdies.
The field is extremely tight, with just seven strokes separating the top six teams. The final round is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. CT Tuesday at the par-72, 6,137-yard Blue Hills Country Club in Canton, Mass.
Three Lady Toppers are in the top 15 individually, led by junior Mary Joiner, who’s tied for seventh with a 150 (72-78) total.
