Western Kentucky's women's golf team moved up two spots on the team leaderboard during the second round at the Rebel Intercollegiate hosted by Ole Miss on Saturday in Oxford, Miss.
The Lady Toppers fired an 18-over 306 to move into sole possession of ninth place through 36 holes on the Ole Miss Golf Course. WKU has posted a 36-hole score of 40-over 616 (310-306) over the first two days and are three strokes back of eighth-place Memphis. Troy's six-under 282 on Saturday has the Trojans leading the 15-team field by 20 strokes after two days.
Emily Alexander matched her opening-round 76 on Saturday, shooting four-over par to sit at eight-over 152 (76-76).
