Western Kentucky got a season-long, four-game reprieve from its road-heavy schedule. Now the Lady Toppers are back on the road.
WKU opens a two-game road set at 7 p.m. Thursday at UAB. Two nights later the Lady Toppers will be in Murfreesboro, Tenn., taking on rival Middle Tennessee.
WKU (16-2, 7-0 Conference USA) goes into this road trip on a 13-game winning streak and tied with UTEP (16-1, 7-0) atop the league standings.
The Lady Toppers are coming off a 4-0 homestand that saw them notch C-USA wins against Rice, North Texas, Old Dominion and Charlotte.
