Western Kentucky's women's tennis team dropped its regular-season finale 6-1 Saturday against host Memphis.
The Lady Toppers finished the regular season 8-7 overall and 2-2 in Conference USA play.
WKU lost the doubles point despite a victory at No. 3 doubles as Cindy Oest and Natalia De Ugarte scored a 7-6 (8-6) win over the Memphis duo of Hannah Sohn and Katherin Cao.
In singles play, No. 1 Moka Ito earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Anki Wind for WKU's only point in the match. The Lady Toppers' Elpida Malamou, Violetta Shatalova and Oest all went three sets in their losing matches.
