WKU (9-4) won all singles and doubles matchups in straight sets against the Bulldogs (4-12).
Seniors Andreanna Christopoulou and Elpida Malamou won, 6-2, over Butler’s Bailey Padgett and Rachel Sutton. At the No. 2 spot, freshmen Cindy Oest and Natalia De Ugarte won their third consecutive match, 6-3. By the same score, Monica Malinen and Violetta Shatalova earned their fourth win as a duo over the Bulldogs on court three.
After securing the doubles point, WKU No. 6 singles player Lisa Friess earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Friess, who slid in the singles lineup for the first time in over a month, is now 4-0 on the year.
