The biggest question Western Kentucky faced after its first-round NCAA Tournament loss in 2017 was how it would replace two of the program’s pillars.
Ivy Brown and Tashia Brown guided the Lady Toppers during their senior year to a second-straight Conference USA Tournament championship and NCAA Tournament appearance, just as their tag team predecessors Kendall Noble and Micah Jones did in 2017, and the duo of Alexis Govan and Chastity Gooch did in 2015.
But the question isn’t as easily answered with an obvious pair of juniors who were major contributors to WKU’s 24-9 season that ended in an 82-58 loss to Oregon State last Friday in Knoxville, Tenn.
