That continuing process picks back up when the Lady Toppers host the defending Conference USA champions MTSU at 2 p.m. Sunday in E.A. Diddle Arena (Fox College Sports, WKU PBS).
The unofficial “100 Miles of Hate” pits WKU against its oldest rival in MTSU, a series in which the Lady Raiders have a 41-27 advantage.
WKU (12-5 overall, 4-1 Conference USA) was picked as the preseason favorite to win the league, but that means getting the best of a well-functioning Lady Raiders team sitting alone atop the C-USA standings.
