Lady Toppers flex depth into Young Harris exhibition game

Western Kentucky has touted its depth and experience all offseason. The Lady Topper basketball team will get to show off that depth in an exhibition game Thursday night against Young Harris at 7 p.m. in E.A. Diddle Arena.

As preseason has traditionally panned out for WKU, it’s likely the majority of the Lady Topper roster sees the floor Thursday night in preparation for the regular-season start against Alabama A&M next week.

WKU has won 32 straight exhibition games, including the last five under coach Michelle Clark-Heard by a 43-point average.

In WKU’s lone exhibition game against Ouachita Baptist last year, the Lady Toppers went six deep off the bench en route to a 65-point victory.
