BOWLING GREEN, Ky. —In its final home match of the regular season, WKU Tennis fell to East Tennessee State by a score of 4-1 Thursday afternoon at the WKU Tennis Complex.
The Lady Toppers finish the regular season with an 11-5 overall record, which is the best winning percentage on The Hill since the 2000-01 campaign.
ETSU came out strong in doubles to take an early 1-0 lead. WKU’s Natalia De Ugarte and Cindy Oest faced Alory Pereira and Yu Chi Ma on court two and were defeated, 6-3, to finish their record when working together to 11-5.
