After holding a 2-0 lead all throughout the first half thanks to two goals by senior forward Iris Dunn, WKU fell short 3-2 in double overtime to the University of Miami at Ohio on Friday afternoon in Oxford, Ohio.
“I think we’re itching to get back out onto the field,” Head Coach Jason Neidell said as he previewed the meeting with the RedHawks on Wednesday. “I think anytime that you lose a game, you’re excited and ready for the next one to learn from the mistakes that you’ve made and be able to execute them in the game ahead.
