The Western Kentucky middle hitter was named this month as Conference USA’s Preseason Player of the Year. She’s the star player for the team picked to win the league. And she has a better career hitting percentage (.390) than any returning player across the nation.

Anderson is the third WKU athlete in the last three years to be named C-USA Preseason Player of the Year. She follows Lucas (2016) and Cavanaugh (2017) in that category.
“It was definitely awesome, just the history this program has had with that award,” Anderson said of the recognition.
