Western Kentucky has proven this season it can play to the wire with top 25 teams. The Lady Toppers won at E.A. Diddle Arena against then 23rd-ranked Indiana and played then 18th-ranked DePaul in a tight game on a neutral floor.
The Lady Toppers' stretch of playing top teams reaches its summit in a true road game when they visit No. 8 Louisville on Sunday at the KFC Yum! Center for a 1 p.m. CST tipoff.
WKU (5-3) is coming off back-to-back convincing road wins at Ohio Valley Conference opponents Eastern Kentucky and Austin Peay. Sunday’s test at Louisville offers another familiar foe, but it’ll be a different road environment than what WKU has seen this season.
