CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — With getting two weeks off, the Lady Toppers’ Tennis squad came back full-swing defeating Austin Peay, 5-2, inside the Governors Tennis Center Friday evening.
The victory over Austin Peay (2-3) marks the second time in the Jonatan Berhane era that WKU (6-2) has won four straight matches.
WKU began Friday’s match once again winning the doubles point, its sixth time this spring. At the No. 1 spot, the pair of Lisa Friess and Andreanna Christopoulou took down the Governors’ sister-duo of Lidia and Claudia Yanes Garcia, 6-3.
