The addition of graduate senior Jae’Lisa Allen now gives WKU three reliable post players with at least some college experience, albeit minimal playing time.
Raneem Elgedawy took Conference USA by surprise with a post game that won her the league’s freshman of the year honor. Arame Niang rounds out that trio with a 6-foot-3 presence after redshirting last season. Freshman Kallie Searcy also stands at 6-3, giving WKU four players standing 6-foot-2 or taller, the most since having three on the roster in 2010-11.
Allen is the first graduate transfer WKU has added since Colllins joined former coach Michelle Clark-Heard’s staff in 2012.
