BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With the conclusion of the 2016-17 NCAA women’s basketball season on Sunday evening, redshirt senior Micah Jones officially finished as the national leader in assist-to-turnover ratio, dishing out 3.73 assists for every one turnover that she committed on the year.
Jones, hailing from Greensburg, Ky., returned after missing all but two games in 2015-16 to deal 138 assists compared to 37 turnovers. She dealt five or more assists in 12 of WKU’s 34 contests this season and committed either zero or one turnover in 25 games while directing the offense.
