Before Prince Charles Iworah joined the football team at Western Kentucky in 2012, he used to jump the fence at Houchens-Smith Stadium to run drills on the field at 2 a.m.
Iworah tried working out during the daytime after the Hilltoppers finished practice, but then-coach Willie Taggart didn't know who he was and frequently kicked him out.
Iworah refused to take no for an answer, determined to one day earn a walk-on spot with the program. So he and two friends would jump the fence, get in a full workout in the dead of night, go back to sleep and then get up for class.
