Come to think of it, Johnson wasn’t originally supposed to be on the Western Kentucky men’s basketball team’s Costa Rica trip at all.
As recently as Saturday, Johnson was in the thick of fall camp with the Hilltopper football team, trying his luck at cracking WKU’s tight end rotation.
