Western Kentucky senior forward Justin Johnson was named Tuesday to the Conference USA Men's Basketball Preseason All-Conference Team for the second straight season.
Johnson – a 6-foot-7 native of Hazard — is the first Hilltopper to be named to consecutive preseason all-conference teams since George Fant and T.J. Price earned similar accolades their last three seasons from 2012-15.
C-USA is announcing the league's preseason all-conference team one student-athlete per day leading up to the season. Other players announced so far include Daquan Bracey (Louisiana Tech), Jacobi Boykins (Louisiana Tech), Ahmad Caver (Old Dominion), Chris Cokley (Alabama-Birmingham), William Lee (UAB) and Giddy Potts (Middle Tennessee).
