Hollingsworth makes history as Hilltoppers roll past Boston College

WKU basketball fell just short of the NCAA Tournament, but had success in the first round of the NIT, beating Boston College 79-62 to advance. Freshman guard Taveion Hollingsworth became the higest-scoring freshman in WKU history in the win.

Senior forward Justin Johnson scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to record the game's only double-double. Freshman guard Taveion Hollingsworth (18 points), graduate transfer guard Darius Thompson (17 points) and junior guard Lamonte Bearden (10 points) also broke double figures in the win over WKU's ACC opposition.
