The Hilltoppers went to Louisiana Tech that Thursday night, let the Bulldogs passing offense rack up 454 yards and five touchdowns and came up short in a 55-52 shootout.
The Toppers have responded to that challenge. They’re 3-0 since that loss, with the most recent performance a 52-3 hammering of last-place Florida Atlantic on Saturday at FAU Stadium.
The Hilltoppers will clinch a spot in Dec. 3’s C-USA Championship Game if they notch wins Saturday at home against Florida International (3-6, 3-2), Nov. 12 at home against North Texas (4-4, 2-2) and Nov. 26 in the regular-season finale at Marshall (2-6, 1-3).
