Western Kentucky split a softball doubleheader Saturday with Middle Tennessee, losing the first game 7-4 and winning the second 8-6.
The Blue Raiders (19-9 overall, 2-3 Conference USA) jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first game, getting five runs off WKU pitcher Shelby Nunn.
WKU (18-10, 3-2) came back from a 5-2 hole to win the second game. Nunn, Jordan Thomas and Kendall Smith all hit homers for the Hilltoppers.
