Hilltoppers pull off biggest win of Stansbury era, knocking off No. 18 Purdue

PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – Western Kentucky outhustled, outsmarted, outtoughed and outplayed the nation’s No. 18 team Thursday night in Imperial Arena.

WKU led 18th-ranked Purdue for nearly the entire game Thursday, fended off the Boilermakers’ second-half comeback attempts and earned a 77-73 win in a second-round consolation game at the Battle 4 Atlantis.
