The WKU forward and his teammates will get another chance to put together a complete 40 minutes Saturday at Texas-San Antonio. Tipoff between the Toppers (16-6 overall, 8-1 Conference USA) and Roadrunners (12-11, 5-5) is set for 3 p.m. at the Convocation Center in San Antonio.
WKU trailed Texas El-Paso 53-51 with 8:46 left Thursday before the Hilltoppers finished the game on a 21-7 run. They escaped the Don Haskins Center with a 72-60 victory.
Johnson posted 20 points and 12 rebounds against the Miners, with guard Taveion Hollingsworth adding 17 points and hitting five 3-pointers.
