The weekend that some of Western Kentucky's top football products have been waiting for all their lives has nearly arrived.
A select group of Hilltoppers hope to hear their names called this week during the NFL Draft, which begins Thursday night with the first round.
It's not out of the question for a WKU player to go Friday in rounds 2-3, but the bulk of the activity for the Tops is likely to happen Saturday as the draft concludes with rounds 3-7.
"It's a special day," former WKU quarterback Brandon Doughty said last month at pro day.
