Rick Stansbury doesn’t expect his Western Kentucky squad to start Saturday’s game at Old Dominion like it did its last time there.
“We’re not going to get out to a 21-0 lead this time,” the Hilltopper coach Stansbury said Thursday. “That’s not going to happen.”
Of course, Stansbury also wants a better outcome than the Jan. 5 meeting. WKU blew its early 21-point lead that night as the Monarchs surged for a 69-66 home win.
Seven weeks later, the programs meet again at noon CST on Saturday in the Ted Constant Center. Stadium will stream the Conference USA matchup online, with WKU-PBS broadcasting it in Bowling Green.
