About the only thing left to please the crowd in E.A. Diddle Arena was a basket from freshman Jake Ohmer. The freshman was scoreless on eight attempts before a scoop and score finally put him on the board much to the delight of 4,412 in attendance.
Besides Ohmer taking a while to get going, everything was smooth sailing for the Hilltoppers, who desperately needed a game like Saturday to get back on track.
Western Kentucky never trailed and every starter reached double digits in an 81-65 win over Indiana State on Saturday.
WKU (7-4) shot a solid 57 percent from the floor with 42 points coming in the paint.
