Hilltoppers face long layoff before C-USA Tournament opener

The Hilltoppers (18-13 overall, 11-7 Conference USA) wrapped up their regular season Wednesday with an 81-76 overtime home loss to Texas-San Antonio. They won’t play again until the Conference USA Tournament quarterfinals Thursday in Frisco, Texas.

The seven-day layoff between games matches the longest for WKU this season. They also waited seven days in between a Dec. 8 win at Arkansas and a Dec. 16 home loss to Troy.
