BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball returns to the road for three straight away games, starting at UAB at 7 p.m. CT Thursday in Birmingham, Ala.
The Hilltoppers (9-8, 3-1 Conference USA) are tied for third in the league after Saturday’s 79-67 loss to Old Dominion – WKU’s first home loss of the season and the Tops’ first defeat overall in their last six outings.
UAB (9-7, 2-1), the league’s defending regular season champion, is coming off an 88-81 overtime win at Rice on Saturday. WKU is 12-21 all-time against the Blazers, although the Hilltoppers won 2 of 3 matchups last season, including an 88-77 victory in the C-USA Tournament quarterfinals.
