Western Kentucky seniors Caitlin Hesse, Olivia Fitzgerald and Iris Dunn were named Thursday to the College Sports Information Directors of America's District 2 Academic All-District Team.
WKU matched Bucknell, which also collected three honorees, for the most representatives on the 11-player District 2 team. The Lady Toppers have had at least one academic all-district nominee in each of the last 11 seasons. WKU’s three selections are its most in a single season since 2013, when Nora Abolins, Torrie Lange and Chrissy Tchoula received the honors.
