WKU women’s basketball announced Greg Collins as the new head coach this afternoon following Michelle Clark-Heard's departure to become head coach at the University of Cincinnati.
Collins has served as an assistant for the Lady Toppers since the 2013-2014 season and as the associate head coach for the past four seasons.
“As our associate head coach, Greg has played an instrumental and vital role in every aspect of our program over the last six seasons,” WKU athletics director Todd Stewart said in a press release. “While serving in a largely behind the scenes capacity, his countless contributions to our success are certainly know and appreciated within our program.
