Western Kentucky has added a former in-state prep star to its roster.
Kentucky transfer and former Marion County standout Kyvin Goodin-Rogers signed Wednesday to play for the Lady Toppers, WKU announced Friday afternoon.
Goodin-Rogers, a junior, must sit out the next two semesters and will be eligible to play starting after final exams next December.
The 6-foot-1 forward appeared in 39 games at UK, starting in 15. She left coach Matthew Mitchell’s program late last month.
Goodin-Rogers is the second transfer from UK to land at WKU in recent months, joining Jaycee Coe, who left the Wildcat program this spring after her freshman season to join coach Michelle Clark-Heard’s Lady Toppers.
