Friends Coe, Goodin-Rogers reunite at WKU

Jaycee Coe hasn’t played a game yet for Western Kentucky, but she’s found other ways to contribute to the Lady Toppers.

That includes making an impact on the recruiting trail.

After the sophomore guard transferred from Kentucky last offseason, she remained in close contact with one of her best friends from the UK program, Kyvin Goodin-Rogers.

And when Goodin-Rogers decided this season to also leave UK, Coe let Lady Topper coach Michelle Clark-Heard know right away.

“I remember she told me she got her release and I called coach Heard,” Coe said. “I said, ‘Coach Heard, Kyvin just got her release.
