RUSTON, La. — WKU Baseball got six innings of one-run relief from a trio of freshmen arms, but an early deficit was too much to overcome as Louisiana Tech took the second game of the weekend series, 7-1. Hunter Wood had his 13th multi-hit game of the season, while Thomas Peter added his team-best 16th with the team’s lone run batted in Saturday night.
The Bulldogs scored four in the first inning, capped by a three-run Chase Lunsford homerun, and another two in the second frame.
