After having no NFL Draft Combine participants, WKU football's seniors showcased their talents at the program's annual pro day Wednesday.
There were seven participants: linebacker Masai Whyte, defensive lineman Evan Sayner, defensive lineman Julien Lewis, defensive back Drell Greene, running back D'Andre Ferby, defensive back DeAndre Farris and tight end Mik'Quan Deane.
“I’ve been dreaming about this since I was a little kid,” Farris said in a press release. “I just wanted to come out here and showcase my talents, showcase my athletic ability to the scouts, and have fun.”
This was the first pro day with new head coach Tyson Helton at the helm, who coached many of the Hilltoppers on display when he was WKU's offensive coordinator in 2014-15.
