BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Western Kentucky University and the University of Louisville have agreed to a three-game football series beginning in 2018 including a game in Nashville at Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, in 2019.
Two games at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium in 2018 and 2020 bookend the series with the game in Nashville serving as a neutral site “home” game for the Hilltoppers. The two in-state schools have not met on the gridiron since 1998 with the Cardinals holding a 19-12 advantage in the series. WKU head coach Jeff Brohm is a former Louisville letterman (’89-93).
