DALLAS, Texas – WKU offensive tackle Forrest Lamp was the most recent Hilltopper to be recognized by a national award as he was named to the 2016 Outland Trophy Watch List on Friday, the Football Writers Association of America announced.
The Outland Trophy is named after the late John Outland, who was an All-America lineman at Penn, and is awarded annually to the top interior lineman, with players on both sides of the ball eligible for the award. The Outland Trophy winner is chosen from three finalists who are a part of the annual FWAA All-America Team.
